CASA CAROSENO with Studio Paz

STUDIO PAZ is a landscape architecture and outdoor design studio, founded in 2005 by Giuseppe Tricarico, landscape architect, and Enrica Farinelli, interior designer and creative director. Our studio is based in Puglia and specializes in the design of residential and public outdoor spaces, with particular attention to the dialogue between nature, architecture, and human experience.

''We design gardens, open spaces, and landscapes by combining a sensitivity to the identity of places with research into materials and respect for the environment. Every project is born from listening to the land and the needs of those who inhabit it, aiming to create authentic, sustainable environments in harmony with the history and Mediterranean character of our region.''

''The garden project for Casa Caroseno developed around the owners' deep desire to preserve the soul of the original garden, where every plant had been personally chosen, planted, and lovingly cared for over time. We worked to ensure that the new garden honored this emotional legacy. Every corner told a story, a gesture, a memory, which we absolutely did not want to lose. Our task was to embrace this green heritage and allow it to converse with newly designed spaces, intended to expand and enrich the experience of garden living, without ever betraying its spirit.

We chose trees that recall the agricultural and productive nature of life in the Puglian countryside and selected plant varieties that respected the existing Mediterranean color palette—full of bright, cheerful colors capable of conveying joy and lightness. The result is a dynamic garden that embraces and surprises those who walk through it, perfectly in tune with the essential elegance and meticulous care of the contemporary architectural project for the house, curated by Opus Atelier.''
